Frequently asked questions

Is the free plan really free?

Yes. The Free plan costs $0 and has no time limit. It includes every monitor type and unlimited private agents, with up to 50 monitors, checks every 5 minutes, 30 days of history and 1 status page. You only pay if you choose to upgrade.

What counts as a monitor?

A monitor is one thing CuliPulse keeps an eye on: a website, a port, a ping target, a UDP service, a domain's expiry date, a DNS record, a vendor's status page or a scheduled job. Each one counts as one monitor, even when it is checked from several locations. Paused monitors still count towards your plan's limit.

Do private agents cost extra?

No. You can run as many private agents as you like on every plan, Free included. An agent is the small program you install to check services inside your own network.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes. Open Billing in the app and choose Manage billing to cancel. You do not need to email us. You keep your plan until the end of the period you have already paid for, then your account moves to the Free plan. Your monitors are not deleted. Monitors that check more often than the Free plan allows are slowed to every 5 minutes.
